Privacy policy

Calculator data stays in your browser.Account balances, ages, and decedent names you type into the calculator are stored only in your browser's session memory. Nothing is transmitted to our servers.

What we do collect

Anonymous usage analytics (page views, anonymized country) via Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2 — default DENIED. Analytics fires only after you click "Accept" on the cookie notice. IP is anonymized; ad-personalization signals are off; ads-data redaction is on.
Email address only when you voluntarily contact us via [email protected].

What we do not collect

Your retirement-account balances or ages — they never leave your browser.
Cross-site retargeting graphs — Google Signals is disabled.
Personal-identification fingerprinting beyond what GA4 records under default-DENIED consent.

Affiliate tracking

When (and if) a partner link is enabled, the partner places its own tracking cookie subject to the partner's privacy policy. You can review those before clicking. Currently no affiliate program is active — the sponsor slot is in "pending approval" state.

Cookies and local storage

We use localStorage to remember your cookie-consent choice (the single key rmdacross_consent_v1) so the banner does not reappear on every visit. No third-party cookies are set unless you accept analytics.
